Description
The all-new Phantom Trail Mid are waterproof boots made from Hypershell® Pro fabric. They combine the flexibility of trail-running shoes with the stability of hiking boots. These lightweight hiking shoes have been designed for various activities all year round. Asymmetric reinforced toes and rigid heel and ankle support provide increased stability, and the side protection panels offer great durability. A generously-sized toe box for swollen toes provides comfort during long hikes.
Innovation Soles® Technology, High-Comp EVA in combination with R-rubber compound ensure next-generation cushioning and excellent grip on gravel, stone, and grass.
All shoes come with an additional Trimfit™ sole for optimal fit.

Poor grip
I tested boot, under intense conditions for 2 days in mountains, on multiple terrain and in very poor weather. Overall a good boot - comfortable, wide-fitting and waterproof. Unfortunately the grip failed on wet terrain and I slipped many times, on one occasion, hurting my knee. Probably best suited to rigorous urban environment rather than the nature. Good response from Provider who have agreed to pass feedback onto production team.

Not as wide a fitting for the toes as I’d hoped.
Not as wide as I was hoping for. I found them actually a very narrow fitting dispute the reviews I had read. Also my feet get pretty warm in them so I’m slightly annoyed at myself for not considering more breathable natural material boots. But they are nice all the same.
