The Cyclone Rescue Jacket is a waterproof, windproof, and highly breathable 3-layer shell jacket. Featuring fully taped seams, water repellent zippers, a DWR treatment and the advanced Hypershell® Pro membrane, this jacket is designed for extreme weather conditions. Its 4-way stretch fabric allows for ample movement, and the adjustable sleeve opening and bottom hem ensure a comfortable fit. The built-in Recco® reflector makes you easier searchable in case of an emergency. Cyclone Rescue is also equipped with 2-way ventilation zippers at the armpits for fast cooling during intense activities. The helmet-compatible hood, adjustable CollarOpt™ storm front collar and ski pass pocket make this shell jacket the obvious choice for year-round mountain use.

Perfect jacket

Massive hood!!!
Brilliantly waterproof jacket. Gives plenty of space inside to wear multiple layers which is exactly what I was after. All that being said, the hood is monumentally big. Yes, you can tighten it up with the cords but it's just way too big. When it's pulled tight to fit a normal head you get material poking out that rain catches on and drips inside down your neck. Two hood sized options when purchasing these would be great.

Great Shell only jacket
Needed a shell jacket for those warmer days on the slopes. I spotted this in the RVRC sale and so pleased I was tempted to buy. Fit is great and build seems quality too. The hood is large to cope with a helmet which is what I need. Great purchase will be looking to buy other products as the ski season gets nearer.

Great coat
Coat is great quality and a good fit (enough room for a couple of layers underneath but not too baggy). As others have said, hood is huge, which is great if wearing a helmet. Otherwise I've found with a bit of adjustment on the rear elastic you can make it fit nicely.

Looking forward to storms
Im not a fan of loose hoods that don't roll into the collar.
However after purchasing multiple pairs of hiking trousers, the quality of products is evident, so I took the plunge and bought a Cyclone jacket.
The fabric is sturdy, yet light, seams are neatly taped and zippers tuck away in tiny 'pockets'.
The positioning, and size of pockets have been clearly well thought through.
The hood issue is reduced by elasticated cords which, when tightened, reduce its size.
Winter storms come on

Cyclone 3 shell jacket in medium
I found the coat very slightly too big as I like my clothes tight fitting. However, I think small will be too small so I opted to keep the medium. The quality seems excellent, but , I find the hood excessively large. (I assume it’s for a helmet ?). Perhaps R R could design a jacket with a standard hood. I definitely would purchase another.
